𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴, 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗿𝗼𝘀! We’ll find PRAYER in movement...in dance...in meditation. We’ll ignite the ECSTATIC CURRENT inside of our bodies and let it flow without shame or judgment. We’ll connect with ourselves, each other, and the DIVINE! For our first official event of 2023, the 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 is teaming up with the sonic magic of 𝗖𝗜𝗨𝗧-𝗙𝗠’𝘀 𝗗𝗝 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻 and 𝗝𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 to create a joyful movement journey. Come DANCE with us and let’s bring the JUICE and PLAYFULNESS to Toronto! ********************* 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗦 LOCATION: Manor Road United Church, 240 Manor Rd E, Toronto, ON M4S 1R8 👉🏽 Between Eglinton Ave & Davisville Ave 👉🏽 15 min walk from Eglinton Station PARKING: there is street parking around the church. Most street parking closer to Eglinton and Mt. Pleasant or Bayview is only 1-hour parking. There are some 3-hour parking closer to the church. There is also Green P Carpark 171 and Green P Parking – Chateau Royal Garage in the area. TIME: Please arrive on time Doors OPEN at 3:45 Doors CLOSE at 4:15 Please leave plenty of time for travel and parking. SUBWAY: The closest subway is Eglinton Station ********************* WHAT TO BRING.... ~ Water bottle ~ Towel or change of clothes...if you sweat a lot ~ Blanket and/or yoga mat for the sound bath ~ Personal snacks ~ A sacred object to put on the altar (optional) ********************* WHAT TO WEAR... We plan to get wild and sweaty! Wear something comfortable you can move around freely in. And if those clothes make you feel like a Goddess/God, even better! We also encourage sparkles, glitter, feathers, and anything else that is an expression of your joy and bliss! We dance barefoot! Shoes are not permitted on the dancefloor. We’re encouraging you to feel the ground beneath your feet. There is no full nudity. Shirtless for all is fine. ********************* WHAT TO EXPECT... There will be a little time to socialize and stretch before we start at 4:15. Jovana (SOROR MYSTICA) will start us off with a guided movement meditation, to drop us in with ourselves and each other. We will then embark on our dance journey with DJ Medicineman who will take us into the earthy depths and the celestial heights. We will land together and be transported further by Jaime Verk’s celestial sound bath. There will be a little time after to integrate and land back into this reality, socialize, and gather your personal belongings. ********************* A FEW REMINDERS.... 👉🏽 Sounds of ecstatic bliss are welcome, but please no talking on the dancefloor. Almost everything can be said with a simple nod, bow, hug...or even just your eyes. 👉🏽 But if you absolutely have to say something, make sure you whisper! You don’t want to pull anyone out of their journey. 👉🏽 This is a scent-free event. Essential oils are fine but please don’t wear any perfume or cologne/aftershave. 👉🏽 Silently exercise your yes’s and no’s. If there is an invitation to dance, but you'd rather dance by yourself, putting your hands together in a prayer-like position is saying "thanks, but I want to dance by myself now".
