Ecstatic Dance :: A FAMILY AFFAIR :: Last Dance of 2019

Our next and FINAL Dance of 2019 will be in two weeks, on Tuesday December 10th, and will be an Ecstatic Dance NYC family affair... featuring a lineup of many of our old and incredibly talented friends and artists. To open, our homie Justin Conte will open up with his signature warm-up class "Urban Flow". Then, we go on the musical-dance-journey with our EDance NYC favorites dreeemy and Nickodemus. And to close, our dear friends from SEMA:: Haleh Liza and Camila Celin will bring us into a deep-listening and meditative space, through voice and traditional instruments. Come close out what has been an incredible 2019 with us! Whether it's your first time coming, or if you're a seasoned Ecstatic Dancer, all are welcome. Here's a little bit about what it is: ❃ Ecstatic Dance is a community gathering for people who want to express themselves freely, to connect, and to expand together through the inspiration of music & dance. ❃ Live DJs | Live Drumming | Free-Form Movement | Workshops | Sound Meditation | Massage | High Vibe Food & Elixirs | Community ❃ ❃ Join us and enjoy a safe and inspiring space to dance without talking, drinking, and the nightclub vibe. This is about self-expression, freeing your mind and body, and connecting with yourself and those around you. No booze, no shoes and no chit-chat on the dance floor helps us keep it intentional. Amazing music helps us keep it all about dance. ❃ There will also be a beautiful lounge space to relax, decorated by The Chanda Lair, as well as refreshing, alcohol-free beverages and food, served by Ambrosia Elixirs. ➤ Guidelines: 1. No talking on the dance floor (plenty of room to talk in the lounge space up on the balcony) 2. Drug-Free, Smoke-Free, Alcohol-Free environment 3. No photos or videos, cellphones muted and out of sight 4. Respect for the space and for one another 5. Move your body however you wish! ➤ What to Bring: 1. Loose-fitting clothes that let you move your body and free yourself 2. Water and a water bottle. You can refill it at the venue. We do not provide plastic cups as we strive to be a zero-waste event. 3. Coat check will be available to allow dancers to store their coats, bags and other valuables. You can also leave your belongings in the back of the dance floor, but please note that Ecstatic Dance NYC is not responsible for any lost/stolen items. ➤ Where: Judson Memorial Church - New York City 55 Washington Square S, New York, NY ➤ Tickets: $15 Early Bird / $20 Tier 1 / $25 Tier 2 / $30 at the Door (Cash or Venmo) / $20 after 9:30pm.
