Move, sweat, feel, create, activate, expand, release, let go, flow, fly, laugh, cry... We start at 6:30pm sharp so please arrive a least 15min in advance to check in... Even better... A sacred space where we can express ourselves freely, connecting intimately with our inner selves and surrendering to the great dance. An exciting and sometimes challenging place to be - only from here can we enter a divine state of grace, stillness and peace. Powerful music will guide our bodies gently into movement, gradually building the energy beyond our perceived physical and mental limits. After a good sweat, the rhythm of the music winds down for a delicious rest. Community musical offerings usually follows and the session ends with a closing circle. Is ecstatic dance a dance class? well not really... we are simply creating the space for you to feel safe and truly move your body in any way it desires. You can do anything on the dance floor : stretch, ballet, yoga, jump all around, be sexy or just lay still and get filled with other people's energy... Nobody cares what you do, as long as you respect the ones around you... What kind of music is it? All kinds... You will feel and experience a wide spectrum of beats that will groove and sooth your soul because everybody has different tastes and this dance is for everyone. From ambient, instrumentals, vocals or downtempo to latin, reggae, world & funk passing thru some house, drum&bass, disco and afro... you will hear it all... 😊 🎶 And lastly this is for EVERYBODY - the old & the young - him & her - the coordinated & uncoordinated - the dance lovers & the seekers - this is a place to let go and dance like nobody's watching!
