Ecstatic Dance and Brunch @ Tankstation

This month, for our last Sunday of the month we are teaming up with Ecstatic Dance Twente to put on an new fun event event to welcome in Spring. But what is Ecstatic Dance? Ecstatic dance is a form of dance that emphasizes free and spontaneous movement, allowing dancers to connect with their bodies and emotions on a deeper level. Unlike traditional forms of dance that follow specific choreography, ecstatic dance is improvisational, allowing dancers to express themselves freely through movement without judgment or expectation. Ecstatic dance is accompanied by music played by an experienced DJ (more info below) that will move on a beautiful musical journey. Ecstatic dance has been practiced for thousands of years by various cultures around the world, and today, it is enjoyed by people of all backgrounds and is often used as a form of exercise, stress relief, and personal growth. So come and join us on our first experience of Ecstatic Dance at Tankstation! All are welcome to come and participate. As a first time welcome gift, we will be offering this event for free. He takes you on a musical journey from minimal music to profound vocal songs, classical music, from rhythmic tribal sounds (afro / shamanic) to up-tempo trance and electronic music. He also uses dark sounds to get to your deeper layers. He invites you to dance with your demons, sinking to your deeper beliefs. All of this can be alternated by unexpected humorous quirks and absurd moments. He can sometimes be a little unpredictable ... but that is life too.
