Ecstatic Dance - As the Eagle Soars

Ecstatic Dance is a container for raw, authentic expression through movement. If you are new to edance, please read the rules below. Leading the dance journey tonight will be DJ Jadi (Joel Jadus) with a "prayerfully selected and technically refined journey across multiple genres, including melodic house, trap, future bass, and electronic (to name only a few). I hope this music, along with the Holy Spirit transmitted throughout our dance, positively impacts you as much as it has and does me!" For the opening workshop, Joel will be sharing his SunRay Galactivation Workshop: We'll begin with a kundalini warm-up and utilize mudras, movements, and chakra toning to align the body, mind, and spirit. We will apply some practical, take-home grounding techniques (aka The Way of Compassionate Autonomy) that will allow you to overcome any and all fears that may come up during his process, throughout the dance & afterward as we altogether experience the ever-unfolding embodiment of Unity & Freedom: Everlasting Happiness, Love and Harmony! Practice Non-verbal consent - Allow everyone the space to dance apart. - To interact, make eye contact, and 'listen' for a yes. - Respect solo dancers' space - Hands in prayer means, "I see you, and thank you for the dance (that just ended)." This is a transformational space for healing, connection, and expression. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
