Ecstatic Dance is freeform movement. It is simply dancing your own dance with the support and love of others who also wish to dance their own dance. Facilitator/DJ Molly Devine did her 200hr facilitation training in 2019 with Sarsha Hope (Hope Wellness) and since then has facilitated dances at festivals and venues around New Zealand. Molly draws her inspiration for her dances from her years practicing yoga and QiGong. She has been a practicing yogi since she was 3 when her Mum, Liza Devine, did her Teacher Training with Swami Satchidananda and immediately began sharing the teachings with Molly and her brother Jack. Since then Molly has been on a pilgrimage through India following Swami Satchidananda’s life, and offered Seva while living at Shree Muktananda Ashram in New York for a month. More recently Molly has been practicing QiGong with Ren Xue International. Molly’s dances are lively and explorative. She loves to keep the dances accessible for everyone and journeys between New Age music, Tribal House, and the latest dance hits.
