She began DJing at age 17, with a handful of deep cuts on vinyl and two turntables. Many years later, her style remains sexy and playful, ferocious yet tender, energetic and surprising. Expect genres as diverse as organic, deep, and afro house, amapiano and gqom, drum & bass, NUKG, deep dubstep, future bass and trap, digital cumbia, dancehall and dembow, even the occasional techno or psytrance track. Bex also brings decades of experience as a dancer, yoga teacher, and somatic movement educator to all of her sets and events. Holding any space is ultimately about sculpting energy skillfully without predetermining the experience of each participant.
