Whether you consider yourself a diva of song or a novice of sound, this Dance Lab will explore our greatest musical potential, harnessing the power of improvisation to release the music inside. Through movement and voice, we will play with spontaneous singing, beatboxing, rap, vocal 'sampling,' body percussion, and ultimately dance with our voices - turning human beings into instruments and sound into music. 🎶 🌀 🔅 👣 ♦️ ✨ 💠 🔶 🎵 🚀 🌺 💫 Ecstatic Dance is an opportunity to find freedom in your own ability to feel and move with all that is and with everything that arises in your body, heart and mind. Each month Ecstatic Dance Boston offered you a rich, multilayered experience... starting off with a movement class warmup featuring renowned instructors and facilitators, followed by DJ'd beats and music from dance floors around the world, and finally coming to a sound scape cool down integration with either live instruments, digital production, or vocalization. Our featured guests will be a mix of local talent and familiar faces to international teachers, musicians, and DJs.
