As we journey deeper into the heart of Winter the invitation is to journey within, feel what is moving through you and release anything that is no longer serving. *please scroll down to bottom of page to see full schedule and timings __________ MORE INFO ➤ CACAO Cacao (raw, unprocessed chocolate) is a powerful plant medicine that has been used ceremonially for thousands of years across Central and South America. The people of ancient Meso-America attributed a sacred status to Cacao and would drink it ceremonially to commune with their gods. We drink Cacao in ceremony to reconnect with our deep inner guidance. Using guided meditation we journey within to discover more about ourselves, release negative blockages and find peace and clarity. Whether you’re looking to release emotional blockages, find some creative inspiration or you simply want to feel ALIVE, a Cacao Ceremony is a perfect way to re-align and connect with your heart. ➤ CACAO PRACTICALS We invite you not to eat for 3 hours before the event as the medicinal constituents of Cacao are best absorbed on an empty stomach. Cacao can move things around both emotionally and physically, so this will also help you to avoid feelings of nausea. We recommend having a nutritious and grounding meal afterwards to help with integration. Please drink plenty of water (good quality if possible) before, during and after the event. Cacao is very safe, however it is not compatible with some prescription medication such as anti-depressants. If you are taking prescription medication please check if it is compatible with Cacao first. This is very important given that our journey will be dynamic and high energy. It’s a movement meditation which brings together awareness of mind, body, heart and soul through dance, movement, connection and expression. Using Ecstatic Dance and Cacao together we create a safe, held and sacred space for you to connect, express, release and rejuvenate internally, externally and collectively. ➤ WHAT TO BRING - re-usable water bottle - blanket and yoga mat to lie on and keep warm for the sound journey ➤ VENUE This event is taking place at the Small Hall at The Elmgrove Centre. The Small Hall is a separate building, located on the right hand side of the main church when looking from Redland Rd. ➤ TICKETS & REFUNDS Tickets can be bought through Eventbrite or on the door. We don't offer refunds, but we can transfer your ticket to a future event if you notify us up to 48 hours before the event. Please note, the Small Hall at The Elmgrove Centre has a limited capacity.
