Each element holds its own rhythm, energy, and invitation. ✧ EARTH grounds you in weight and trust — a return to instinct and presence ✧ WATER flows through sensuality, emotion, and soft connection ✧ FIRE invites dynamic expression — boundaries, boldness, and powerplay ✧ AIR expands breath and connection — light, playful, and heart-opening ✧ ETHER opens us to subtle connection In this elemental dance ceremony, inspired by ancient cultures and guided by dance therapist and anthropologist Lene Van Steenwinkel, we explore partner dance through the lens of the elements. We’ll shift between solo embodiment and co-creative connection, allowing each element to inspire the way we move, lead, follow, and feel. ♡ Come to be moved. ♡ ✧ FACILITATOR ✧ Lene Van Steenwinkel is a Dance/Movement Therapist and Anthropologist who weaves together the wisdom of the cultures she’s lived in with practices like Authentic Movement, 5Elements Dance Activation™, Contact Improv, Butoh, Burlesque, Tantra, and nature-based traditions. Fascinated by the subconscious, archetypes, and mythology, Lene created Embodied Dreamwork, guiding people to explore their dreams through movement. She also dances with women through the archetypes of the menstrual and life cycle.
