As a percussionist, he has performed at many small and large venues in his hometown of Miami, Fl. As a student of Indian music and Tabla drumming, he travelled to India to study with several great masters. During his travels there he naturally developed a meditation and yoga practice, as well as having many instances of hyper synchronicity and lucid dreaming. 2016 saw the birth of "Drumming & Dreaming", a marriage between Fernando's passion for drumming and meditation. The practice initially began as a form of silent meditation. It soon evolved into a method for dream recall and comprehension as well as intentional waking state dreams for divination and healing. The work has been presented by several centers in the Miami area such as The Bagua Center, The Sacred Space, and Innergy Meditation, in addition to private sessions. He is the proud father to three musical children and married to a singer/songwriter and Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) practitioner.
