Welcome to our first ECSTATIC DANCE of 2024! We're gonna ring things in right with our beloved DJ Clandestine weaving our sonic dance journey. Clandestine has been DJing our first dance of the new year since the very beginning in 2016! How special to have these roots going so deep! Come celebrate a fresh new year with us! History of Ecstatic Dance: Ecstatic Dance (with it's roots in 5 rhythms) was birthed in Hawaii in the year 2000, and is now a world-wide movement found in almost every major city. It combines the freedom of a festival experience with the awareness of a conscious dance practice. The Ecstatic Dance guidelines are Universal. Although each Ecstatic Dance around the globe is unique, these guidelines connect the web of all Ecstatic Dances together as one. The Schedule Flow: We open up with yoga followed by a two hour dance journey fascilitated by a professional DJ held in a safe and sacred space for you to express yourself freely and fully. We end things with a sound healing or meditation and closing circle. This is sacred space for you to be your unique authentic self in a judgement-free container that celebrates you for being you!
