Theme: DANCE it OUT: a QueeR ecSt@ti¢ d4n©e Description: We're here! We're queer! Our anxiety and existential dread is moderate to severe! Lezbehonest, to celebrate Pride in a time where trans and queer people are losing rights and lives is both a privilege and a necessity, as well as an act of resistance. So let's get together and DANCE it OUT; our queer joy, grief, rage, angst, pleasure, multiplicity, and aliveness. Come early (7pm) for a pre-dance song circle! ***This dance centers queerness of all kinds and welcomes all identities & expressions, including queer allies.*** Though this will be a mask-optional space, masking for personal/collective safety is welcome and celebrated. We honor that, for many reasons, not all our disabled queer & trans kin are able or willing to take the risk to be in social spaces that aren't fully masked. We gather, imperfectly, and send the blessings out to all those who who need the medicine, even if they can't be with us. Come as you are! Dance how you want! Sing out loud! Or lay down and be quiet! Just come and be! Bio: Bex Lipps (they/them) is lover, student, and steward of music, song, dance, rhythm, and laughter.
