We are happy to welcome DJ Binder from Berlin play for us again. He is the co-creator of Ecstatic Dance in Munich, one of the core ecstatic dance DJs in Berlin and he travels to others cities to DJ for other Ecstatic Dance communities as well. He is a DJ as well as a music producer, combining drumming with organic electronic music. Ecstatic dance is a free-form movement journey with modern bass music spanning all genres, tempos, emotions, and intensities. You are welcome as you are in this judgement free, open community. Respect the space (which includes no shoes, alcohol, phones, perfumes, and being mindful of each other's space) If you are new to Ecstatic Dance, please come in time as we will go through the principles in the opening circle. ◈ BINDER ◈ Binder is a sound conduit and high-tech-healer that combines drum journeying with organic electronic music and live percussion: woven together to create a sonic journey that stimulates clarity and release through dance and movement. Although Binder had been on a spiritual path since early 2000, studying various modalities such as shamanism, meditation, and psychology, it wasn’t until he was diagnosed with a life-threatening health challenge in 2015 that inspired him to let go of rigid behaviors and off-kilter philosophies in order to strive to live a life of harmony in order to embrace his calling as a sonic-healer of drum-journeying, song and dance. Leaving the music world he used to be in where the focus was on the performing artist, Binder embraces a reality where he is simply a conduit for helping others to create more flow in their lives, by means of the sonic tools of movement he has been studying over the years. https://bit.ly/2BUxEBD www.scottbinder.de ◈ FLOWNESS BREATHWORK / LEIGH EWIN ◈ Leigh Ewin is a breathworker. He has worked with many of the modern day breathwork evangelists and those who are revolutionising the way we view the breath. He specialises in using breathing to create amazing experiences that enable people to fall deeper into what he calls "The Innerspace". He believes that too often we live in our heads and that the modern world takes us into our heads and away from our bodies and away from our hearts. He believes that breathwork is a pathway back inside of our bodies and allows for amazing connection with ourselves and others. He uses breathing for healing, tension/anxiety release and understands the science and benefits that a simple breath (or breathing methods) can achieve. Please note that you cannot join the workshop once it has started due to the nature of the practice. We’re gonna have Ecstatic Dance every three weeks during autumn ( 7.9. / 28.9. / 19.10./ 9.11. / 30.11.). You are heartfully welcome.
