History of Ecstatic Dance: Ecstatic Dance (with it's roots in 5 rhythms) was birthed in Hawaii in the year 2000, and is now a world-wide movement found in almost every major city. It combines the freedom of a festival experience with the awareness of a conscious dance practice. It's a two hour dance journey fascilitated by a professional DJ with no talking on the dance floor, held in a safe and sacred space for you to express yourself freely and fully.
