Ecstatic Dance + Drum Circle ~: May 7 :~ Dance Temple Meets Tricksters

Dance Temple Squamish and Trickster's Hideout are excited to be collaborating to bring you an Ecstatic Dance with Live Drumming! Bill Wallace will be briefing us on the use of his homemade drums and we will have an opportunity to interact through action drumming throughout the dance evening. This format follows the typical rules of no talking and no phones in the space, with the addition of live action drumming! ** Bringing a drum is optional. If you have one, please bring it. There will also be drums available for use, and you can also just dance without drumming just like any other ecstatic dance! Trickster's will have kombucha on tap for your enjoyment. Please bring cash or card if you want to purchase some! This is a space to express, show up in your authenticity, process your emotions, let yourself feel wild and free and connect with a like-minded community here in town! Our ecstatic dance has an especially intimate family vibe. It is a sober space with no talking during the dance - however there is time to share and connect after! Location : Trickster's Hideout - 38005 Cleveland Ave Entrance on 1st-and-a, Half-Ave. The entrance is found in the alleyway between Cleveland and 2nd Ave. Parking is street parking anywhere along Cleveland, Victoria, or wherever you can find it. All you need to bring is your water bottle, comfy clothes to dance in, your drum if you have it, and cash for admission (or e transfer to [email protected] PRIOR to entry). Admission is $20 for this offering. We aim to provide an inclusive space where everyone is welcome, including children! However, please make sure your children can remain quiet during Savasana and the sharing circle so that we can maintain the integrity of the container.
