Ecstatic Dance Pittsburgh presents: Emotional Excavation | A free-form dance, nonjudgmental space facilitated by Rae Amber Featuring a medley of music that just might help you excavate some stuck emotions :) All ages, skills, abilities, and identities welcome! Tonight's dance is a focus on mindful reflection of our nervous system -- those moments we are shut down, or frozen, fighting, or fleeing -- and finally celebrating ourselves in joyous harmony with our bodies. Ecstatic Dance is a freeform, expressive movement practice where participants are invited to dance without choreography , allowing the music to guide them. It offers a unique, judgment-free space for physical exercise, emotional release, and creative expression. Beyond fitness, it provides a chance to connect deeply with oneself and others, fostering a sense of freedom, grounding, and community. Lead Faciliator | Rae Amber is a regular of ecstatic dance debuting their first facilitation of our sacred space. Dog (and cat and any other pet) wrangler by day, off the clock they have a deep passion for inclusion and creating a space where everyone feels welcome. Their intention tonight is to help you release and wrangle your emotions! Supporting Facilitator | Dani Grace is a local psychospiritual healing guide who uses evidence-based therapy practices in a psychospiritual container to help her clients commune with their own sacred light. Her passions include expanded states of consciousness, somatics, parts work, EMDR, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and creative expression.
