In celebration of the Equinox, let’s shake off the cold and begin to blossom like beautiful spring flowers through movement and dance. We will seek balance within ourselves, mirroring the equilibrium of day and night on this special day. Together, we will ground ourselves in the space and on the floor, exploring elements of Contemporary Dance. Through both guided and free improvisation exercises, we will delve into how to express ourselves creatively and emotionally, dance authentically, and embrace playfulness and curiosity. Let's discover the joy of dance and movement together. Katja Petry is a professionally trained dancer specializing in Contemporary, Modern, and Jazz Dance, as well as a certified yoga teacher. She embraces various movement forms, including Ecstatic Dance and embodiment practices, continually seeking to learn and grow.
