Ecstatic Dance Fairfield County: OUTSIDE & IN PERSON

WE ARE READY. Ready to share space. Ready to move. Ready to witness and be witnessed in our natural state. Ready to let go of fear and move into the a new world of connection. Ready to move our dance outside! You are invited to come dance your own dance, play with the energies around you, groove to the music, and enjoy the natural beauty of the land we are blessed to share. We will meet in front of the Stone Barn and go for a short uphill hike to a very special opening in the forest we call “Coyote Village”! There is PLENTY of space to social distance and I've never seen poison ivy in this area. Please do your best to arrive by 7 so we can have our mindful walk and opening circle all together. If you are late, park in the lot by the barn, and walk up the gravel road. Even though you’re on foot, follow the “Cars ->” sign and then follow the sound. We will open with a guided warm-up to help you loosen up your body and mind, connect with the trees, ground and creatures around us. Andrew Prue is coming with his incredible drumming talent, instruments to share, and a beautiful sound meditation at the end. No prior dance experience is necessary; Come as you are! This is a sober event. While we typically go barefoot at Ecstatic Dance, I recommend bringing comfortable shoes that you could dance in if you are not used to being barefoot in the woods.
