Heartbeats keep the time. The instruments of nature tune into the steady pulse of a universal clockwork and all of creation dances along. Dance is transformation. Even when the dancers are gone, the dance lives on. It glides with the breeze, it rises and falls in the ocean, it rumbles through the earth, until once again embodied. A sacred journey of movement. A trip our community takes together every Sunday guided by the rhythmic directions of our music facilitators. This week, the stylings of Gabriel Francisco will take us into that Ecstasy. Flowing from unknown into being. Detached from anger by love. Chaos understood by knowing the mind. A lyrical joy when the soul is seen. A compassionate stillness where the spirit is healing. Transforming from Dancer to DJ, moving from the floor to the decks, Gabriel Francisco found the natural evolution of a lifelong passion. Knowing what dancers want is a special insight on what to provide as a DJ. Gabriel has taken his love of music and movement abroad, dropping DJ sets all over Europe, Thailand, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. Gabriel has as opened for Dirtwire, Dimond Saints, Random Rab, Soohan, David Starfire, and MORiLLO to name just a few. On the Big Island, he produces retreats and special events, such as EmbodiFest, and headlines private campouts like CandyLand.
