WELCOME BACK, ECSTATIC DANCE KW! You kept showing up, you spread the good news, and now we’ve got momentum. Starting this September, we begin our new MONTHLY SCHEDULE, and we can’t wait to get riding this new groove with you. So get out your smartphone, your pencil, your feather and ink, and drop these dates in your calendar: 👉September 14th 👉October 19th 👉November 15th – A special collaboration with Awaken Events at the Victoria Park Pavilion! 👉December 14th Without further ado, we invite you to get hyped for the first Dance of the season, featuring a carefully curated and DEBUT SET by WILD KEYS!!! Come just as you are, and count on these sonic magicians to invite you deeper into your power, aliveness, and freedom of expression. They’re going to take us on a soulful musical journey, connecting with our hearts and getting our bodies moving as we embrace our most authentic selves. INTRODUCING WILD KEYS A DJ & Vocalist duo brought together by cosmic alignment, Wild Keys offers a permission slip to experience the full spectrum of what it is to be human through recognizing our personal and collective beauty, shadow, mess and magic on the dancefloor. They bring a unique, pulsing and soul-elevating sound that they weave with vocal activations, spoken word poetry and expert facilitation creating a bespoke transformative experience. WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE? Ecstatic Dance is a freeform, conscious dance practice and sound journey. Created by the community for the community, these are intentional, co-creative containers for exploring embodiment, self- expression, catharsis, and play—all through the transformative medium of movement and music. This is a space to be yourself, discover yourself, become yourself, and support one another in doing the same. THESE ECSTATIC DANCES ARE: Non-Verbal, Sober Spaces, And we invite you to leave your shoes at the door. AND TO CLOSE OUR DANCE, we’ll gather ‘round the sonic flame now gentled and calm, tended by Reva Wild, who will be serenading us with a soundbath to support our grounding and integration.
