Ecstatic Dance LA W DJ Baron Von Spirit & Yoga Trance Dance July 19th

Join us 2-5pm Sunday, July 19th for Dj Baron Von Spirit at Ecstatic Dance Los Angeles. We will start with a Yoga Trance Dance warm up with Ariana Bates, and flow into an amazing DJ set by Baron Von Spirit. Throughout the event we will have the amazing Raw Vegan Chef Debra Mazer catering delicious food from our kitchen, EFT offered by Tristan S. Montoya, and Massage/ Energy work by Atasiea. Baron von Spirit is a DJ, Music Producer, and Event Producer in service of conscious movement, drawing on his own practice of ecstatic dance and contact improvisation for inspiration. Spirit lives in the SF Bay Area and is a resident DJ for Ecstatic Dance Oakland, Ecstatic Dance Palo Alto, and Ecstatic Dance Fairfax. He also plays regularly at other venues in Northern California and private events. He produces Dance Immersion at Harbin Hot Springs and co-produces Sacred Groove in Emeryville. He’s known for his eclectic and wide-ranging musical taste, but even more so for bringing songs that are fresh and unique. He loves to mix electronic and organic beats, and depending upon the venue will play anything from angelic ambient to uptempo electro. To each set he brings a rough palette of musical ideas - the final journey is created as a response to what he is feeling in communion with the field of dancers; and always finds a way to integrate a few novel remixes of beloved classics. Ariana Bates leads Yoga Trance Dance®, as created by Shiva Rea, throughout the greater Los Angeles area at festivals, community events, spiritual centers and private classes.
