We are welcoming you to our first Ecstatic Dance in 2020! We can dance again! yesss!!! We come together to open our hearts, move our bodies, connect, express and transform... But! We have to make you aware about some guidelines, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Which includes: *If you are feeling ill or someone near you is ill, please stay at home. *At the entrance we will ask you to wash your hands and there will be sanitiser gel available. * During the event, we are allowed to dance in contact. Before and after the dance, we respect the 1,5m distance rule! * Dancers bring there own bottle of water or cup. There will be water available to refill. If you become ill before the event, please contact us, you'll get a refund and we make your ticket available for someone else. Nevertheless, we are coming together to dance and celebrate life, for this: ▬▬ ★ WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE? ★ ▬▬ A unique dance experience, guided by music and sounds. We go on exploration, dare to be vulnerable and gently push our boundaries. There are three simple basic guidelines to ED: "No shoes. No booze. No chitchat." So we come together connecting our bare feet to the earth, purely communicating through our bodies, and celebrating life in all its aspects! We welcome you exactly as you are now! So you are entirely free to follow your own needs during the dance. Each ED starts and ends with a ceremony in which we make time and space to connect with ourselves, the others, the space, the vibrations, our intentions and the larger ED tribe. This opening is guided, and leads you into the dance. The concept of ED arose about 20 years ago in Hawaii and California, went around the world and has grown extensively over the years, weekly touching many hearts and bodies all over the world. And since September 2016... we warmheartedly have been welcoming you to: Ecstatic Dance Leuven! Come as you are, share as you wish, and create as you dream.
