She often starts her day with a cup of tea. From Pu-er to herbal infusions, she appreciates the medicine of plants. When she sits for her meditation or movement practice, a cup of tea guides her to focus and be present. She enjoys serving tea, having conversations and creating a cozy space. During her travels all around the world she had the opportunity and interest to learn about medicinal plants and tea. She is continuously learning and humbled by the culture of tea in China and Japan. Alessandra loves crafting herbal blends combining medicinal properties in tea, but above all, she is a passionate chocolate maker! Her recent creation, La Gourmande, delicious raw cacao truffles, pair divinely with tea. Both tea herbal blends and cacao truffles are available for purchase. Influenced by her practices of contact improvisation, figure skating, acroyoga, and hand-balancing, she guides playful movement experiences as an opportunity for deep listening, research, and co-creation. Merrick teaches and organizes contact improvisation across the San Francisco Bay Area. With roots in rhythm and a heart attuned to ancestral wisdom, she creates immersive sonic journeys that awaken the spirit and invite deep healing. Whether through live instrumentation, ceremonial cacao, or global dance beats, her offerings are a fusion of medicine and music designed to move both body and soul. She holds a BA in Music with a focus on Sound Therapy, is certified in Reiki and Yoga, and grounds her healing work in a deep connection to the Earth. Maryzelle has collaborated with institutions like UCSF, UC Berkeley, Stanford, trauma recovery and addiction centers, and nearly every major wellness studio in the Bay Area—providing accessible healing through the art of sound. Sacred Decadence Cacao & Spell Food Leela Maya started her journey as a raw vegan dessert chef in 2007 at Cafe Gratitude. It was working there that she discovered the power of intention, community, & how truly nourishing food felt like sensual kitchen witch craft for her soul. It was love at first bite. She has also developed products for Urban Remedy and Good Earth Natural Foods in Marin. Leela is delighted to be sharing her culinary creations as sacred service to the vitality, health, and well being of all.
