„Ecstatic Dance Potsdam“ ist Tanzen ohne Substanzen, Handys und Gequatsche. Dafür mit sehr viel Bass, Beatz und jeder Menge Her(t)z ❤️‍🔥 -- Find English below. -- 19:00: Einlass und freies Warm-Up zu Musik 20:00: Gemeinsamer Beginn inkl. angeleiteter Bewegungsübung, gefolgt von der Tanzreise mit DJ-Set von Mathami 22:15 Chillout mit Meditation 22:45: Ende Ecstatic Dance ist eine musikalische Reise und ein Tanzritual oder auch einfach nur ne gute Party - je nachdem, was bei dir grade dran ist! Das knapp zweistündige DJ-Set lädt zum Tanzen, Loslassen und Relaxen ein und wird eingerahmt durch ein Warm-Up und eine meditative Endentspannung. 🗝️ Wichtig zu Wissen 🗝️ Beim Ecstatic Dance wird ohne Alkohol, Schuhe, Smartphones, Kameras und Reden getanzt. Tragt am besten bequeme Klamotten, in denen ihr euch wohlfühlt. Gerne könnt ihr auch eine Yogamatte und eine Decke für die Endentspannung und eure eigene verschließbare Wasserflasche mitbringen. Alkoholfreie Getränke gibt es außerdem im T-Werk zu kaufen. Bitte pünktlich da sein, denn wir beginnen den Workshop gemeinsam, damit es ein echtes Gruppenerlebnis werden kann. Es braucht für die Teilnahme keinerlei Vorerfahrung. Auch alle Altersklassen sind willkommen. Wir alle haben unterschiedliche Bedürfnisse nach Nähe, Abstand, Kontakt oder Space. Seitdem hat er seine Aktivitäten auf diese alternative Tanzkultur und conscious events verlagert. Als erfahrener Musikkurator und -selektor lässt er all seine Erfahrung einfließen, um eine ganz eigene und unverwechselbare Art zu entwickeln die musikalischen Reisen für diese Formate zu kreieren. Während der Pandemie war er damit beschäftigt, seine beiden neuen Projekte zu launchen, sein DJ- und Künstler-Projekt und sein neues Musiklabel Pura Danza. Mit den ersten fünf EPs, die er mitterweile unter seinem neuen Namen Mathami veröffentlicht hat, und vielen weiteren geplanten Releases und Kollaborationen mit anderen Künstlern, macht er sich auf, die musikalischen Grenzen von Ecstatic Dance zu erweitern. The almost two-hour DJ set invites you to dance, let go and relax and is framed by a warm-up and a meditative final relaxation. 🗝️ Good to know 🗝️ Ecstatic Dance is happening without alcohol, shoes, smartphones, cameras and talking. It is best to wear comfortable clothes that you feel good in. Feel free to bring a yoga mat and blanket for final relaxation and your own sealable water bottle. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase at the T-Werk. Please be there on time, as we will start the workshop together to make it a true group experience. No prior experience is needed to participate. All ages are welcome as well. We all have different needs for closeness, distance, contact or space. Kristina is spaceholding, Mathami is DJing: Thomas Koch aka Mathami has been an internationally known DJ, producer and electronic music activist for over 30 years under the name DJ T. before he got introduced to the art of Ecstatic Dance in the Sacred Valley of Peru in 2015. Since then he has been shifting his activities towards this alternative dance culture and more conscious events. As a skilled music curator and selector he is channeling all his experience into this art to develop his own unique fingerprint of creating the musical journeys for these events. During the pandemic he has been busy launging his two new projects, his new artist persona and a new music label Pura Danza that will both exlcusively serve the world of Ecstatic Dance.
