WOW. We have an incredible night planned for you this month, dance fam.... The RI Conscious Dance leaders are teaming up to bring you a multi layered event beginning with an intro to contact improv class with Jeff Doff followed by a mini jam with beats by Tara Ma. We will transition to our opening circle and evening with special guest, the extraordinary live vocalist, looper and producer Cornflower. We will also be featuring for the very first time an Elixir Bar with Daryl & Sarah. Yummmm! Doors will open at 5:45 and Jeff's class begins at 6pm sharp. His voice calls us deeper into Presence utilizing modern mantra-like lyrics upon a landscape of vocal loops, he builds layers and dimensions of harmony and groove like a sonic tapestry into an anthemic chant to set your body ablaze in movement and prayer. She is the founder and facilitator of Ecstatic Dance Providence and has been a guest DJ for many other Conscious dances in the New England Area. Through 25 years of practicing contact improvisation, Jeff has found comfort, joy, & so much more in this dance form. Jeff has taught in New England & internationally in Austria. Jeff’s current teaching focuses on CI as a practice and helping it to feel safer, more accessible, and alive.
