Come celebrate spring equinox with a unique somatic experience. Join a warm, inclusive community for an evening designed to help you shake off the winter and reconnect with your natural rhythm. We combine the expressive freedom of Ecstatic Dance with the restorative power of a Symphonic Gong Sound Meditation. From organic beats to deep electronic soundscapes, this is an experiential journey for your body and soul. What to Expect: • A Safer Space: A non-judgmental environment where you can move exactly as you feel. • The Journey: We begin with a guided warm-up, transition into a high-energy dance wave, and conclude with a profound, immersive gong meditation. • The "Rules" of the Floor: No shoes, no booze, and no "moves" to learn. We move in silence (no talking on the dance floor) to allow everyone to drop deeper into their own journey. Simply show up as you are. No prior experience with dance or meditation is required. Our music is a mix of organic and electronic beats from around the globe—with a focus on the cutting edge of "bass music" production. The journey will open with flowing music to warm-up the body, steadily pick up in tempo & intensity to reach peaks of ecstasy, and gently land into meditative, heart-chakra stillness. Bonbon Spirit (aka PJ Weinstein) is a DJ, music remixer, and Event Producer in service of conscious movement, drawing on 20+ years of personal practice in ecstatic dance, Soul Motion, 5Rhythms, and contact improvisation for inspiration. Over the years, PJ’s been resident DJ for Ecstatic Dances in Corvallis (OR), Oakland (CA), and Fairfax (CA), as well as founder of Dance Immersion retreats at Breitenbush Hot Springs and Harbin Hot Springs.
