Ecstatic Dance San Diego returns to Encinitas, March 6th with The Living Drum: Somatic Ecstatic Dance workshop guided by Vincent Hardy followed by Ecstatic Dance journey curated by global DJ ~ Medicine Music Ecstatic Dance is a community movement, a sacred space for you to explore and tap into your true expression. Come be held by the dance floor, the music and the community, connect non-verbally with yourself and others and tap into the magic of this liberating movement space. Location: Dance North County 535 Encinitas Blvd., Suite 101 Encinitas, Ca (Enter around the back) The Living Drum: Somatic Ecstatic Dance Guided by Vincent Hardy 8:00pm - 8:45pm Through somatic activation, breathwork, shaking, spiraling, grounded foot rhythm, and wave-like undulation, participants are guided into deep nervous system release and expanded states of embodied presence. The Living Drum invites you to feel rhythm in your fascia, your spine, your pelvis, your heart. To let vibration move you instead of you moving to it. We begin gently—awakening sensation, pulse, and internal listening. From there, the journey builds into percussive trance states, ecstatic waves, primal expression, and full-bodied surrender. The music becomes medicine. The floor becomes altar. The body becomes ceremony. Living Drum is for anyone ready to discharge stagnation, reclaim their life-force, and remember that joy is a frequency the body already knows. Ecstatic Dance Journey Featuring Medicine Music 9pm-11pm Brian Kadmiri (aka Medicine Music) is one of the founders of the legendary Remedy SF events, which made him a deeply influential force in the San Francisco house music and electronic music industry from the 90's to 2015 — producing transformational events for over two decades and DJing for 15 years. His journey began in 1990, during the rise of rave culture. For Brian, the pulsing rhythms of electronic music weren’t just sounds — they were soul awakening. The foundational values of the movement — Which is Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect — struck a profound chord in his heart and spirit. From that moment on, he devoted his life to music, community, and co-creating spaces that uplift consciousness. Through the '90s and beyond, Brian produced a multitude of events, bringing some of the world’s most sought-after and respected artists, producers, bands and DJ’s to the stage. Over time, the call to step behind the decks and create music of his own became undeniable — and so, Medicine Music was born. Following a successful chapter in the nightlife world and a series of life-changing spiritual awakenings, Brian felt a higher calling. Guided by deep inner shifts, he answered the call to relocate to the mystical Mount Shasta — known as the root chakra of the planet — where he began exploring the healing power of music and dance in new ways. This shift led him into the heart of Conscious Music Festivals, Ecstatic Dances, and spiritually-driven sound experiences. Since then, Brian has founded OM Garden, a beloved monthly sacred dance event, where he serves as resident DJ and curator. He also became a co-facilitator of Mount Shasta’s Ecstatic Dance for many years.
