Ecstatic Dance San Diego returns for our first dance of 2026 this Friday, January 9th to Encinitas with opening class - guided by Nancy Parker followed by Ecstatic Dance Journey set by Namaslane aka Sarah Lane Ecstatic Dance is a community movement, a sacred space for you to explore and tap into your true expression. Come be held by the dance floor, the music and the community, connect non-verbally with yourself and others and tap into the magic of this liberating movement space. Her sets are both playful and primal, inviting dancers to move through awkward, sexy, silly, powerful, tender, wild, and everything in between. Grounded in nearly a decade of somatic practice and six years of coaching, Namaslane brings her embodied wisdom onto the dancefloor through DJing—curating sets that weave both nervous-system awareness and energetic attunement. She reads bodies, builds arcs, and curates transformational music journeys that help dancers drop out of their heads and into sensation, presence, and release.
