Ecstatic Dance San Diego returns Friday, May 15th to Pt. Loma with opening workshop ~ Freedom Expressions facilitated by Niki Carro followed by Ecstatic Dance journey curated by Music Producer Pineapple Flow Ecstatic Dance is a community movement, a sacred space for you to explore and tap into your true expression. Come be held by the dance floor, the music and the community, connect non-verbally with yourself and others and tap into the magic of this liberating movement space. Doors Open at 8pm Location: 2650 Truxtun Rd, Ste 200 San Diego (upstairs on the left) Freedom Expressions Guided by Niki Carro 8:00pm - 8:45pm Niki will be guiding us through an empowered and playful exploration of how we converse with the language of the body and others through authentic movement and contact dance. We’ll start by reconnecting with our own authenticity, exploring self and movement through the 5 elements. From there, we'll explore how we can communicate with others through movement, diving into playful and connective partner exercises to build trust and relatability. Ecstatic Dance Journey Featuring Pineapple Flow 9pm-11pm Pineapple Flow was first introduced to the music scene at a young age where he first explored the violin and drums. Quickly leading into EDM during his teens, he made the decision to pursue the art of mixing which led to him producing his own original tracks Pineapple Flow has mastered the art of mixing in many different genres of music leaning towards trap, dubstep, and future bass while combining many genres into a unique well digested style for many different audiences.
