Sunday Morning - 1/6 - ALIA Contage (Contact Improv + Massage) Andy Peri ALIA is an acclaimed Electronic Music Producer, DJ, Vocalist, and Producer of the Feminine Medicine™ Project based in San Francisco. Inspired by the global sacred bass movement, her music is an evocative, lush journey into her own blend of bass-heavy electronic dance beats, melodic frequencies, gorgeous feminine voices, conscious lyrics, and sacred psychedelic sounds. Described as feminine and fierce, elegant and gritty, ethereal and primal, her music unfolds in a pulsing, hypnotic journey that moves both bodies and hearts. Contage - Andy Peri Andy has been a member of the conscious dance community in Northern California for more than 25 years. Twelve years ago, Andy and his late wife Deb Hubsmith developed and began teaching Contage, which combines contact improv and massage into a fun, creative and healing movement form which seeks to expand participant’s mindfulness, relaxation, ease, creativity, joy and connections with others. In 2018 Andy and his teaching partner Xiaojuan Shu brought Contage to Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, XiLai, Tianjin and Lijiang, China. In several of the cities Andy and Xiao coupled the classes with presentations and discussion on environmental awareness and activism/action.
