ANNOUNCING: 4.28:: Yemanjo is the globe-spanning project of producer, DJ, singer and musician Ben Harris. Raised in the rich culture of California’s Bay Area, Harris’ work is influenced by the world music styles he has encountered through his extensive travels. In a contemporary reality based on division and categorization, Yemanjo's music aims to break down the borders that divide us as cultures and individuals, and honor the diversity of human expression through sound 💜✨ Yemanjo’s sound is a dynamic fusion of downtempo and organic house beats with traditional sounds from Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. His unique live hybrid set features all-original music, harmonized vocals with Venezuelan singer Irene Rosalia, and his signature live trumpet and percussion.
