We are pleased to have AAZAV leading our midweek Ecstatic Dance on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Krishna Temple. Qi Gong: 6pm, Dance: 7pm. Let's move! ✦•··········•✦•············•✦ AASAV Aazav: (aah-z-aah-v) a state of ecstatic spiritual dignity obtained through dance, drumming, and trance practices. Aazav emerges from the fusion of Kai Altair and Haj i Ji's passion for music that animates both body and soul. Drawing from ancestral vocal traditions and deep woods sensibilities, their sound is a convergence of medicine melodies and global organica—a call to the central fire of remembered futures. Their debut album, "The Looking Stone," garnered support with stellar remixes from collaborators like David Starfire, Govinda, Kaminanda, Drumspyder, and Living Light. Aazav’s DJ and live sets weave the primal with the modern mythic—where deep bass meets luminous vocals and atmospheric journeys. Whether opening portals at sunrise dances or invoking the night’s descent into the wild freedom of embodied ritual, their sets are crafted to awaken collective rhythm and remembrance. The duo travels together and apart, bringing both solo and tag-team performances to dance communities from Hawai‘i to New York City, Los Angeles to Salt Lake City.
