Ecstatic Dance Special Event w. DrtyHvn from Hawaii

Ecstatic Dance Salt Lake City’s 8th Anniversary Dance! We went all out and are flying in community favorite DrtyHvn from Big Island of Hawaii! Oliver aka DrtyHvn is an elusive artists from the jungles of Hawaii. The dances he has played for us have hit record attendance and when it comes to musical prowess and “deep bass” with original mashups and tribal beats, Oliver sets the standard. Oliver grew up listening to Gabrielle Roth’s 5 Rhythms and has danced weekly for decades. The Spirit of Ecstatic Dance is in his bones. This a rare and special treat as he almost never leaves the islands. :LINEUP: 6-7pm: Yoga with Katie L. 7-9pm: Ecstatic Dance w/ DrtyHvn aka Oliver 9pm: Closing Music with Roxie •Admission is $20, cash or venmo at the door. Tokens are also being accepted! (If finances are keeping you from attending, pls reach out! We have volunteer & trade opportunities available.) Guidelines to set the Ecstatic Dance container: No talking on the dance floor. No phones: photography, video, tech (texting, scrolling, etc.) in the dance room. No street shoes on the dance floor. If you don't wish to dance barefoot, dance shoes are allowed. Clearly consensual partner dancing/touch ONLY. While physical distancing mandates have lifted, please be aware and courteous of varying comfortability and readiness on the part of those around you.
