For our November Ecstatic Dance, we welcome back ~ SubRosa! SubRosa is an up and coming experimental artist, combining organic sounds and ingenuitive techniques to bring you a sound journey that evokes passion from the ears to the heart to the feet! She invites you to move your body to atmospheric bass, world influences, and flowing sound design. SubRosa's intention is to open up a space where all beings are welcome to be their full authentic selves, opening up like flowers to experience the pleasureful essence that is love. SubRosa loves music and sound. It opens her up and makes her feel alive like nothing else and it's her joy to bring that same experience to the ears of other people. History of Ecstatic Dance: Ecstatic Dance (with it's roots in 5 rhythms) was birthed in Hawaii in the year 2000, and is now a world-wide movement found in almost every major city. It combines the freedom of a festival experience with the awareness of a conscious dance practice. The Schedule Flow: We open up with yoga followed by a two hour dance journey fascilitated by a professional DJ held in a safe and sacred space for you to express yourself freely and fully. We end things with a sound healing or meditation and closing circle. This is sacred space for you to be your unique authentic self in a judgement-free container that celebrates you for being you!
