Ecstatic Dance Tribal Temple

We welcome you to Tribal Temple, our monthly night of dance and community. Ecstatic dance is a practice of welcoming all the parts of ourselves and dancing *with* them, finding joy in liberation of peer-pressure and self-expectation, liberating inhibition and leaving the inner-critic behind to more fully express our innate joyfulness. The music progresses through a flow of different styles, joyful, moving, uplifting, euphoric, funky, psychedelic.... There will be light suggestions but this is a mostly unguided practice... surrender yourself to the music and let your body be the guide. We have professional quality sound and lighting and a chill-out and cuddle space for taking time out and connecting with friends. The night begins with an opening ritual (including cacao) and end with a guided meditation and closing circle. Brailla is an Ecstatic Dance DJ, conscious event creator, and community choir leader who is passionate about creating experiences to uplift, connect, empower, and celebrate life. She recently competed her DJ training with Dance The Medicine Ecstatic Dance and we're excited for her to share her new skills with us.
