About Şük: Şük (pronounced “Shuk”) is a recent Kootenay transplant from the West Coast. He is the founder of Nelson’s newest ecstatic dance installation, Dirty Turbo Dance Bomb. DTSB is a monthly event, always held on a Saturday night, totally wild and uninhibited, and radically inclusive, as it should be. A child of the 90s rave scene, his music influences are vast, but without question, at his core, will always be a 4x4 beat junkie. A voracious collector of music, his style can span from ethereal to soul to disco to tribal to deep house. Every track chosen is sourced viscerally. Hit play, and a foot tap simply isn’t enough– he must get out of his chair and start dancing in his studio. If that happens, the track gets woven into a set.
