About the DJ-- James Loomis aka "illoom", is the founder of the 11+ year running Dubwise monthly and a major leader in the community dance, music, and permaculture gardening world. We are excited to welcome the boss back to lead our Ecstatic Nights Dance Journey! Illoom's music is lush and diverse, with a signature undertone of dub and jamaican bass. A veteran club, festival, and after-hours DJ, he has the ability to take you into the darkness to battle your demons then and carry you into the light to resculpt them into unicorns with chainsaws, High energy but never too heavy, dirty beats and lighthearted world sounds, be ready for anything and everything, often at once.. If you want to dance your troubles out, this is the night...Illoom will be slaying the dance floor and we will all emerge victorious. ---------------♡ --------------- Ecstatic Dance SLC weaves together world class DJs, immersive sound journeys, and free-form movement. Root Flute 10pm: Vegan Dinner from the Temple $6 Our space also has multiple relaxation areas, a beautiful alter which offers tarot cards, and healing crystals, as well as a community run organic garden outside our building. You are welcome to visit our garden anytime during the dance – members of our community meet one hour before our dance starts to volunteer their time. It’s important to get a non-verbal invitation to dance with a partner, and we ask that you maintain that level of respect during and after the dance ends.
