On warm currents of organic sounds, Moonfire transports dancers across a multi-textured soundscape layered with tribal beats and rhythmic world fusion. Moonfire nurtures the senses with rhythms inspired by the divine feminine, with roots in spiritually lifting instrumentals, drumming, and chanting. Curvaceous melodies with big bass drops that celebrate both the ceremony and raw impulses of dance. This Sunday August 2nd, Ecstatic Dances features Jana Moonfire & Tribe (Samantha Smith, Michael Rannells, & Precious). The music Moonfire has curated for this dance is very unique and especially roots rhythm global traditional instrumental tracks friendly for a myriad of live instrumental accompaniment. The live music will take place the first hour from 10:30-11:15am. Then Moonfire will take it to another level solo without The Tribe 11:30-1:00pm. Dance is outdoors in the lovely grass field adjoining Kalani's dining area. Plenty space to spread out or dance closer to others. A few canopies and trees set up for shade/rain. Surround Speakers setup around the field. It's a beautiful community dance experience. No masks required except at gate entry check-in... 10' dance distance around the field.
