Omra got her start as a singer/songwriter, guitarist, percussionist, (Indian frame drum) and has always been a singer. Omra's music has evolved over the years, she now produces electronic music, and DJs ecstatic dances and other events. Her music takes you to other worlds, and she holds the space as a channel for the divine to come through when she sings. Her music can be described as shamanic and trance, with the diversity of booty shakin' bass, vocal loops, and live singing on top. For Ecstatic Dance, this means selling dance tickets in advance. Sunday’s Ecstatic Dance is a tradition that began twenty years ago at Kalani that keeps strong through hard times because of the love and support of its community. That’s you. The people dance and connect every week, year after year. Even those that move away are always part of the heart of this special dance experience. Ticket purchases made for this dance event date are not transferable to other events or dates.
