Ecstatic Dance Waiheke Island - Open Sky

Join us this Boxing Day and experience the joy of free-form dancing in a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere in a beautiful open sky setup in Surfdale on Waiheke Island. We will start with a yoga warm up by Lexi Moon and move from there into the dance guided by Mathias Light. The journey starts slow, builds to an ecstatic peak and descends into stillness. There is no need to follow any specific steps, and no prior experience is necessary. We will create a safe container, with an introduction to the yoga class and ecstatic dance, as well as an opening and closing circle. The chosen music will take you on a deep journey, where you can fully express yourself and this day surely will be medicine for your mind, body and soul. The things we are not using during the event are word, phones and intoxications. Sliding scale ticket options from NZ$20 to NZ$40 are available on Eventbrite and in cash on the day.
