We heten jullie van harte welkom om te komen dansen in Weert! veel liefs, Team Ecstatic Dance Weert Ecstatic Dance is een vrije, bewuste dansvorm waarbij je op blote voeten beweegt op de muziek, met elkaar of alleen. De DJ neemt je mee op een reis van zachte, meditatieve klanken naar krachtige, uitbundige ritmes en weer terug naar rust. Dj Heidi, uit België, is een bekende naam in de Ecstatic Dance-scene. Ze biedt transformerende muzikale ervaringen en inspireert tot vrijheid van beweging en verbinding. Ze is actief betrokken bij het organiseren van en draaien op Ecstatic Dance-evenementen en festivals en deelt haar gaven met de wereld via klanken en vibraties. Door een mix van tribal, retro-house, trance, techno, klassieke muziek en andere ritmische stijlen creëert ze een ondersteunende en energieke sfeer voor de dansers. Er zijn gratis parkeerplaatsen voor de deur en het is een kwartier lopen van treinstation Weert. Praktische zaken * Water en thee aanwezig, je kunt je eigen drinkfles meenemen als je wilt * Draag laagjes kleding voor comfort * Laat je waardevolle spullen zoveel mogelijk thuis of in je auto liggen * Wanneer je deelneemt is dit volledig op eigen risico. * Er is altijd iemand aanwezig met BHV. Ecstatic dance nodigt je uit om te voelen, om aanwezig te zijn in je lichaam en om spanning los te laten. Het is een moment om diep contact te maken met jezelf, de muziek en anderen. En om daarbij vooral ook vreugde te ervaren! Ecstatic Dance is voor iedereen: of je nu veel danservaring hebt of voor het eerst komt, je bent welkom! Wij bieden een fijne veilige bedding om in te bewegen en te verbinden. Hiervoor hanteren we de volgende richtlijnen tijdens de avond: * Deze avond is in stilte zowel bij binnenkomst als op de dansvloer, in de stilte ontmoet je jezelf. Na afloop is er ruimte om te praten met elkaar. * We respecteren elkaars persoonlijke ruimte. * We gebruiken geen alcohol of andere verdovende middelen. * We dansen op blote voeten. Je mag natuurlijk wel je sokken aanhouden. * Het gebruik van telefoons en camera's is niet toegestaan. Tot slot willen wij een laatste woord geven aan het vorige Ecstatic Dance Weert team, van wie wij in dankbaarheid het stokje overgenomen: "Lieve dansers, We hebben door omstandigheden en persoonlijke overwegingen geen Ecstatic Dance meer georganiseerd. En dat is eigenlijk zonde want Weert blijkt een goede dosis aan dansliefhebbers te hebben. We hebben ontzettend van jullie dansers genoten. Bedankt voor de mooie dansavonden die we hebben mogen beleven met en door jullie! Wat was het bijzonder! Gelukkig neemt Eric het stokje van ons over. She is actively involved in organizing and DJing at Ecstatic Dance events and festivals, sharing her gifts with the world through sound and vibration. By blending tribal, retro-house, trance, techno, classical music, and other rhythmic styles, she creates a supportive and energetic atmosphere for dancers. It's a fifteen minutes walk from Weert train station. � Practical information * Water and tea will be available, but feel free to bring your own bottle.� * Dress in layers for comfort. * Keep valuables at home or in your car if possible. * Participation is entirely at your own risk. A certified first aider will always be� present. Ecstatic Dance is a free, conscious form of dance where you can be completely yourself. Dancing barefoot, you move to the DJ’s music, taking you on a journey: from soft, meditative sounds to powerful, exuberant rhythms, and back to calm. You will have the space to feel, release and be present in your body. It’s a moment to let go of tension, experience joy, and connect deeply—with yourself, the music and others. Ecstatic Dance is for everyone: whether you have a lot of dance experience or are coming for the first time, welcome. To create a safe environment together, we use the following guidelines during the evening: * We are in silence, no talking, both upon entry and on the dance floor. In silence, you meet yourself. After the dance, there will be time to talk. * We respect eachother's personal space. * We don''t use alcohol or other intoxicating substances. * We dance barefoot. Socks are allowed if preferred. * Use of phones and cameras is not allowed. A final note from the previous Ecstatic Dance team Weert from whom we take over: "Dear dancers, Due to various circumstances and personal considerations, we are no longer organizing Ecstatic Dance events. And it’s a shame, because Weert clearly has plenty of dance enthusiasts! We truly enjoyed dancing with all of you. Thank you for the wonderful evenings we shared with and through you—it was truly special! Fortunately, Eric is taking over the organization.
