Ecstatic Dance with Dixon’s Violin LIVE!

Ecstatic Dance experience with LIVE musical guide - Dixon's Violin! A transformative journey of embodied expression and music medicine! Join us for a truly transformative evening of embodied expression and LIVE music medicine, fueled by the inspirational, visionary violin magic of Dixon's Violin! We will gather at the Kingsley Association Center in East Liberty in the Gymnasium. We are honored and excited to welcome national touring artist, Dixon's Violin, to weave sacred space with our Pittsburgh community. Dixon infuses his music with his personal story of transformation and his mission of "humankindness". He has played 1,000 concerts across North America, including five TED talks/performances, over ten years at Burning Man and Electric Forest, plus radio, TV, and film appearances. During our Ecstatic Dance journey, you will have the opportunity to travel from stillness and introspection, chaos and release, celebration and connection in a warm and welcoming community space guided by the magical improvisational vibrations of Dixon's Violin. Opening and Closing circles will be held for connection and integration <3 Bliss DJ Lounge and Elixir Bar to Integrate and socialize after our Dixon's Dance. Unwind with the smooth grooves of DJ Emiliano Ena B2B DJ Jessica Rosario as you enjoy tantalizing sober elixirs crafted locally and connect with friends old and new in a chill lounge space open for relaxing and grooving. Audio provided by: Sound Body Initiative and Give Love Studios More about Dixon: A former technology leader and symphony violinist, Dixon transformed his path to follow his dream and invented a whole new music genre. Dixon now improvises on a 5-string electric violin with a looping system he developed to create an all-live one-man symphony.
