In the corporate world, Brian has had a long career in information technology, technical training, and mentoring. In his personal life, Brian uses sound and music as a wellness practice, and creates meditative musical soundscapes - β€œsound baths” - designed to enhance well-being. His passion is to explore, and share, ancient and modern technologies that enhance our personal and spiritual growth. Mr. Eubanks is the organizer of a monthly event series in Northern Virginia called Armonia: A Journey Through Sound and Silence, which features workshops and sound meditations. Brian Eubanks uses metal and crystal singing bowls, vocals, sound effects, drums, and other acoustic and electronic instruments, to take the listener on a journey that supports their own inner search for greater joy and peace in life. The sound journey is treated as a way of telling a story with the listener as the main character, sometimes without even saying a word. Even silence itself is considered an instrument to be played and shared with others, which is an especially important part of the introspective path.
