ANNOUNCING: 3.17:: 🪷 MICHAEL MAITREYA 🪷 One of Fluidity's dance facilitators is back to share a dance journey with us this coming Tuesday! And it's his birthday dance as well!! 🥳 Maitreya, in some Buddhist traditions, is said to be the coming Buddha who may co-arise spontaneously in the form of a Sangha, an ideal community of spiritual beings. His musical namesake represents his mission, to bring together humans in being attentive to what is, while using the artistry of sound to connect dancers to each and every breath 🧘‍♂️ Michael focuses on the journey rather than the destination by crafting story through song selection. This season's story is titled Revolutions. Drawing on our collective memories of this past year's revolution around the sun, while weighing the chaos growing within our world systems against the inspiration of renewal that inevitably unfolds from these pivitol moments in history. Revolutions is rooted in the celtic sounds of Michael's ancestry, transitions into Michael's deep love for ethereal bass music, blasts into catharsis through high-tempo techno and trance, and then returns to the roots after traversing the weird wisdom of avante garde sounds 🌀 You can sample some of Michael's musical offerings here! And remember, we integrate by soaking together in the sacred mineral waters of the Jackson Wellsprings afterwards 💧 SCHEDULE:: 6:45pm - Doors 7-7:45pm - Authentic Relating Workshop with Patches 8-10pm - Michael Maitreya 10:30pm-1am - Late night soak 🌊 We will have our Somatic Workshop with Patches this week!
