Yemanjo is a DJ, producer, multi-instrumentalist and singer making medicine music for the 21st century. Born and raised in the rich cultural stew of California's Bay Area, Yemanjo has called Lake Atitlan, Guatemala home since 2016. His original music is a polyrhythmic concoction of downtempo/ethnic house beats blended with traditional instruments and tribal chants from Latin America, Africa and the Middle East--influences drawn from Harris' near-constant world travels. He is well-known on the conscious dance scenes of Europe, the US and in Central America, where he is part of the vanguard of a flowering dance scene in Lake Atitlan.
