Ecstatic DJ Conference 2020

Join the world's first Ecstatic DJ Conference! An online 7-day international gathering for conscious dance teachers, facilitators and DJs of all levels. We spent months gathering our Dream Team and preparing an epic DJ Training and Camp, but sadly had to postpone everything. We have so much to share that we decided to morph our two events into a week-long online conference suitable for both budding and experienced Ecstatic Dance professionals. Who is this conference for? Our conference is open to anyone (professionals and amateurs) with an interest in playing music for conscious dance. We will cover mostly DJ-related subjects but will also include Ceremony Leading and Event production for those interested facilitating and organising. What's the difference between the conference and the training/camp? This conference is by no means a replacement to our training or camp but rather a way for us to get together, connect and share. Throughout the week, we'll be offering a selection of taster classes, panel discussions, live DJ sets and tie in with our existing Ecstatic Dance events with our communities from all over the world. Do I need any specific software/hardware to participate? No. We've designed this Conference to be accessible to everyone so you don't need any software or hardware to attend any of the sessions. Our teachers will be using Traktor Pro 3 from Native Instruments for demos, but everything they will be teaching can be done from any other DJ software. In these times of economic crisis, many of us are finding ourselves with a reduced or no income, so to make the conference accessible to all, we're offering it on a donation-based model. We suggest a donation of €20/day or €75 for the full Conference Pass, but you can give as little or as much as you wish. Your donations will be used to support our self-employed DJs and organisers, all of whom are spending a lot of their time and energy putting together this week-long event. Will the sessions be recorded? Yes. We will record all the classes & panels and they will made available to all those who have sent a donation of €75 or more. If you donated less and wish to purchase the recordings after the conference, you'll be able to pay the difference to access them. ZOOM ETIQUETTE 1.
