Ecstatic Forest :: Equinox Dance

Ecstatic Forest is back! Let’s celebrate the transition back into the light, into the warmth, and into the company of each other and the budding forest. This dance feels extra special, as the Equinox dance last year was the first one we had to cancel. While it was sad and confusing at the time, the pandemic eventually led our dance outside, which has been a really beautiful blessing to all of us wild creatures. There is no turning back, only moving forward with the wisdom and love we have grown. Thank you for sticking it out as we closed, moved online, then moved into the forest, changed our name, grew our team and became a true commUnity. We’ll be gathering in our special place in the forest with a nice fire to keep us warm, so be prepared to take a 10 minute uphill hike, wear shoes with good tread, bring extra layers in case it’s still cold and bring yourself some water and snacks. Remember there are roots and rocks all around so keep your awareness on your surroundings. There is PLENTY of space to social distance and no poison ivy in this area. We’re excited to have Amy Dubenetsky leading our warm-up and collaborating with Kyla Anderson and Jackie Ryan on an epic playlist to shake the winter off. Andrew Prue is bringing his talent on the drums with extra instruments to share! Sarah Sage is back to live-paint and set up a community canvas for all to be able to express themselves with color and shape. ::Payment info:: Suggested Sliding Scale: $15-30 for adults. $5-10 for kids. There will be signs posted, but friends are better! Park in the lot by the barn, and walk up the gravel road. Even though you’re on foot, follow the “Cars ->” sign and stay to the right until you see us. This is a sober and family friendly event.
