Ecstatic Soul Sessions~DJ Hazelgurner from Spain

Dj Hazelgurner started playing music in the nineties. He's played in clubs like Razzmatazz, DC10 Barcelona, Row14, and others. Play for party's with other DJ's like James Ruskin, Oliver Ho, Len Faki, and Alecs Marta. In 2012 he discovered Ecstatic Dance through DJ Albert Pala from Ecstatic Dance Barcelona. Since then Dj Hazelgurner has played in many ecstatic dance festivals; Spiritual Dance, Agni Spirit Festival, Ecstatic Dance Barcelona Festival, Own Spirit Festival, Open Heart Festival, Organic Festival, and Psy Fi 2019. Now Dj Hazelgurner is a member of the Ecstatic Dance Barcelona Team that offers Ecstatic Dance sets every Friday in Barcelona. Since 2018 he's been playing in Berlin, Bucharesti, Ibiza, Amsterdam, Breda, Nijmegen, Utrecht, Leuven, and other places. Also, he is the creator of Ecstatic Dance Jupiter: a solidarity event to connect Ganesha's prosperity and service to the other energies and one of the founders of Cacao Dance Crew BCN, that organizes Cacao and Dance parties monthly in Barcelona. On his sets, Dj Hazelgurner creates a mystic, hero's journey (inspired by Joseph Campbell's The Power of Myth). An integral experience for your soul and spirit, where you can explore your individual and co-creative capacity through your body. A soundtrack of space atmospheres, drone ambient, native sounds, ethnic voices, shamanic rhthyms, medicine songs, tribal percussion and an eclectic selection of music from funky-house to classical music. Please sign in for this at the welcome desk. ___________________________ ECSTATIC SOUL SESSIONS DANCE GUIDELINES -This is a SOBER and substance free environment. -Barefoot, sock foot or soft sole shoes only -NO PHONE/NO-PHOTOGRAPHY/NO-VIDEO ZONE -Diversity and inclusion of all identities, backgrounds, creed, ethnicity, gender identities and expression is welcome and celebrated here. -These evening dances are inclusive of ages 12 and up. -This floor is slippery when wet! We sweat our prayers here so clothe yourself to keep sweat off the floor. If you tend to sweat through clothing before the dance is over, bring multiple items to change into. -Please refrain from wearing strong scents of any kind to the dance. -Take verbal conversations outside of the dance space. -We dance ALONE & TOGETHER here. We all work on; courageously approaching others with the invitation to a dance, compassionately communicating “no” to a dance with others when internally guided to do so, and not taking it personally when others choose not to dance with us. -Enter into a dance or initiate touch with another 'after' an approach from the front and with visual acknowledgment. -If you are not getting “yes” body language for a dance, consider it a “no”. -The floor is a valid dance partner. -Vocalizing is a natural way to move energy and is welcome in the dance. Please be discerning and know that this personal expression influences the collective experience and should be used in moderation. -Feel free to close your eyes when you are dancing in one place.
