INTEGRATION CIRCLE w/ JOY + SERENITY We begin with an ECSTATIC DANCE set provided by Kerry Bo Berry! CACAO CEREMONY, lead by Serenity Entity. Within this ceremony we open hearts and minds to surrender to what is meant for our Highest good, and direct ourselves to the very edges of ourselves through song, rhythm, improvisation + presence of the plant medicine - The Cacao. LIVE MUSICAL PERFORMANCE by GAIA RAGA! Gaia Raga is an orchestra, a universe. The sound is multi-instrumental and intuitive, channeling elements from folk, jazz and Indian classical music. Their original music has a sometimes timeless, ancient feeling, borrowing themes from poets and artists through the ages. Their songs are threaded with twin-voiced harmonies, through Niki Arrowsmith and Karsyn Wagner on vocals. Andy Dreamos and Chris Smith share percussion, with Andy also doing triple duty on sitar and saxophone. Matthew Trice handles bass, and sometimes, the other saxophone. And RJ Testa brings the tenor saxophone, and adds in bluegrass flavor with his mandolin. {ECSTATIC} JOURNEYDANCE facilitated by Joy Okoye incorporates a LIVE DRUMMING portion w/Tony DelPiano, Evans Chigounis + Friends. Our bodies become the prayer as we make quantum shifts through ancient + intuitive movement in a sacred container of EDM music + Tribal Drumming that is emotionally rich, energetic, and spiritually expansive ... the dance invokes, uplifts, and moves us to transcendental peaks and deep inner valleys. The drums connect us with the heartbeat of the earth and life! SOUND BATH with The Sound Sirens + friends. The Sound Sirens are an improvised vocal and multi-instrumental trio that fuses world and experimental music invoking harmonic sacred sound and multi-sensory states of awareness. All Ecstatic Dance Jersey gatherings conclude with authentic relating within a Sharing Circle - a sacred and brave container held on this evening by Adnan Shamsi, Joy Okoye and Serenity Entity. THIS is what LOVE looks like... All ages are welcome to become part of this vibrant community and share this journey of self-exploration, self-acceptance, and sacred ceremony. A few Guidelines: 1. ECSTATIC DANCE JERSEY fosters community by gathering souls for a night of live musical performances and global electronic dance music, plus improvised organic multi-dimensional sounds fusing performance art with interactive dance experiences. Participants gather with intention for transformative experiences through free-form conscious dance, using music for meditation, mindful stress reduction, emotional release, catharsis and joy without substances - all events are alcohol and drug free.
